Growing up my struggles with Generalized Anxiety Disorder left me feeling that I did not belong or fit in. Annual trips to the theme parks brought me into a vibrant world filled with music, charm, and people who were welcoming and greeted me with a smile. It was a place of acceptance and belonging. I began to wonder how a place can make someone feel that way? This question has inspired an over decade long passion to give back to these environments all that they have given me, an escape from the world. 

 

I found myself fascinated with how the parks operate through my Disney College Program. Through my art studies I seek/appreciate the small details that bring stories to life. I view projects from the bigger picture and enjoy supporting the teams that help make them happen! Through college I have sought out opportunities to learn about the industry and the talk to the amazing people apart of it, this has lead me to become president of SCAD's Themed Entertainment Association. Where I not only practice and grow skills in leadership, but also have the ability to share my industry knowledge with incoming students and continue to learn along side them. Additionally, I have become a community builder online through film/photography helping to bring people closer to the immersive worlds/products created in themed entertainment wherever they are in the world.

 

I look forward to using these skills along with my business insights, communication, time management, organization, and range of design skills- in roles related to show quality- with the goal of helping to maintain and reimagine the guest experience, allowing them to continue to escape into these worlds of possibilities, away from their worries of today.
